Andrew Marlowe Steps Down as #Castle Showrunner

AndrewMarloweIn a surprising move, Castle will be getting a new showrunner. Andrew Marlowe has stepped down as showrunner.

David Amann will be stepping for Marlowe this upcoming season. While Marlowe will be developing other projects for the network, he will continue to be involved in the day-to-day activities for the show.

And everything will be okay.

The link is now updated to include the Trophy Wife and Mixology cancellations.

muchablogaboutnothing:

I fear for Trophy Wife’s fate. Such a funny show with a great cast. Mentally preparing myself for its cancellation, though.

Castle’s been renewed (DUH).

Scandal and Grey’s have been renewed because again, OF COURSE. Also, OUAT and Resurrection.

Revenge renewed as well. Notice how all of the currently airing dramas are staying… Waiting on Nashville and comedies.

SHIELD has been renewed and Agent Carter ordered to series.

The Goldbergs renewed.

Update: And, the final renewal for the night is….Modern Family (of course).

So, there are your non-surprises.

All other bubble shows’ (Nashville, Trophy Wife, Mixology, Suburgatory, etc.) fates will more than likely be announced tomorrow.

Here you go. All the announcements (for tonight). Look for a post link soon.

My thoughts on the fun episode filled with groovy outfits, banter, dancing and an angry Gates. Wonderfully showcases the light and funny this show does well.

The detectives get a case that initially seems to bear a bit of resemblance to The Wolf of Wall Street…only with far fewer drugs, more corruption and murder. Gates gets a surprise at the precinct in the form of an estranged family member’s involvement in the case and makes for a…

What could possibly go wrong when a narcotics detective comes to homicide specifically asking for Beckett to impersonate a high level informant? The answer: so much.

What started off as simply as an agreement to help out narcotics, impersonating an informant, lands…
